Georgia Attorney
Clay R. Thompson
Although I was an "Army brat" in my younger years — my family's roots have always been here, and I have always considered myself a "Georgia boy." I graduated from Berkmar High School in Gwinnett County, went to college in Virginia on a football scholarship, and then returned here to attend law school.
Georgia is home to the roots, trunk, branches, twigs and leaves of my entire legal career as well.
After passing the Bar, I worked as a prosecutor for Cobb County. Since 1998, I have focused exclusively on criminal defense. Today, I know how the criminal justice system works from both the prosecution and defense perspectives. More importantly, I know how to make "it" work for my clients.
As a lawyer, clients find me nonjudgmental, helpful, willing to talk and surprisingly down-to-earth. I live in Gwinnett County. I own a Harley and enjoy riding it immensely. I am also an avid tennis player and soloist.
